Services we offer
Right now, Petal + Flint offers one engagement: the Recruiting Capacity Sprint. It's built for boutique firms who know their team is busy, but suspect too much time is getting lost to messy systems instead of moving searches forward.
Recruiting Capacity Sprint
Petal + Flint is currently accepting a limited number of pilot clients for this engagement.
A 4–6 week engagement for boutique recruiting, search, and staffing firms who want their current team spending more time on revenue-producing work and less time fighting messy systems.
We identify where time is being lost, clean up high-friction workflow gaps, and complete a small number of practical quick wins that help recruiters move searches, client conversations, candidate relationships, and business development forward.
Pilot pricing: As a founding client, you get a lower rate in exchange for helping shape this offer, plus direct, hands-on access to Lindsay throughout. (Reach out for current pilot pricing; it depends on team size and scope.)
Best For
Firms that know the team is busy, but suspect too much time is being lost to clunky workflows, inconsistent systems, outdated templates, repeated questions, or manual workarounds.
Especially useful if your recruiters are spending too much time searching for information, recreating materials, working around the CRM, or handling low-value tasks that pull them away from business development, candidate conversations, client management, and closing
The Process
Audit
Workflow review: what can be simplified, removed, standardized, or made easier to follow
Tech stack review: what's working, what's underused, what's missing, what's creating friction instead of value
CRM usage review: is the team using it consistently, and does the process support search, follow-up, reporting, and handoffs
Bottleneck identification: where searches, handoffs, admin, client delivery, or follow-up get stuck
Recruiter/admin time review: low-value, high-time tasks that can be reduced, delegated, templated, or systemized
Build
Template cleanup: outdated or inconsistent materials replaced or improved
AI-assisted tools where useful: summaries, presentations, content drafts, research, repeatable admin work
Quick-win implementation: a small number of high-impact fixes completed within the sprint itself, not left for later

FAQs
Do you need access to our CRM or client data?
1
Enough access to review workflows and usage patterns. We'll scope exactly what's needed with you before starting, and every engagement includes an NDA, so you're covered from day one.
We already have an office manager / ops person, is this a replacement?
2
No. Petal + Flint works alongside your existing team, not instead of them. If you have an ops person, we typically work directly with them so the systems we build are theirs to run after we leave.
What if things change mid-engagement, like we're hiring, losing a recruiter, or adding a service line?
3
Tell us. The sprint is scoped tightly enough that we can adjust focus within the engagement, and bigger shifts usually just point toward Growth Systems as a next step.
